Toast the bread slices until golden brown. Lightly butter one side of each slice while warm, ensuring just a thin coat.

Spread a light layer of mayonnaise on the buttered side of each bread slice.

Layer lettuce, tomato slices (seasoned with salt and pepper), and crispy bacon on the first slice.

Place the second slice of toast on top, mayo-side down. Optionally, spread a thin layer of mayo on both sides of the middle slice for extra richness.

Spread a light layer of mayo on top of the middle slice, then layer the turkey breast on this slice.

Top with the final slice of toast, mayo-side down. Press down gently to compact the sandwich slightly.

Secure the sandwich with 4 toothpicks, positioning them where you plan to cut.

Cut the sandwich diagonally into 4 triangles using a sharp serrated knife.

Serve immediately, typically with chips or fries.
